I plan on getting a 3D printer after Christmas, so if anyone here knows how to do patterning like that please contact me.

Just to be clear: that website has images of virtual showrod vehicles (not 3D-printed). They only exist in the computer. I don't know what kind of software was used to create those virtual vehicles but there is a good chance that they could be made "printable" on a 3D printer with not too much additional editing.
Hobbyist 3D printers out there are usually hot-filament type of printers. Their resolution is way too coarse to print out a good rendition of a 1:24 scale model. Not only the body details will be soft, the body would need some serious filling and sanding to make it usable. Unless of course you have $100,000 hobby budget to get a 3D printer with a resolution good enough to do a good job printing out 1:24 scale model parts.
