Well, yes, Brandon, I asked here some time ago the same thing... coffincorner.proboards.com/thread/11234/mad-police-interceptorDespite elaborate search I have not much more discovered as Jason Smith, aka Zarana-X, from the modelcarsmag forum... These kits are originally issued around 1982-84 by Fujimi, apparently to cash in on the Road Warrior phenomenon, which spawned many B grade movie imitators... Fujimi released 4 kits in the Mad Police series: Destroyer, a Nissan Cedric Interceptor, a 79-82 Pontiac Trans Am Venus, a MkII Celica-Supra (Celica XX) And, hmm, Farcon (english misspelling of Falcon, ), a Nissan Leopard. All shared some common Elements and had armor and some sort of weaponry, all have a female and a male figure included and all have the same wheels and tires and comes with an electric motor mounted in the trunk. This was typical of many 'curbside' Japanese kits, an electric motor, poseable steering and no engine detail. And, how could it be otherwise, they are very rare and very expensive...

Some cool stuff there. The movie was called Mad Max when made and released in Australia but for some reason when we released it in the US the title was changed. Apparently it was thought that the Mad Max title would deter patrons. I am glad that they misspelt Falcon as the model is not an Aussie car.

Those would be good fodder for bashing, you could detail the crap out of them.

I love the wheel shredder tabs on the rims...

OK, I wondered about the wheel design. Shredders make sense.
