I ran across this awesome Boys Life article from 1971. Barten, Ira and a few of you other guys who use household items will really appreciate it. I love the names of the cars and the little stories that go with them.

Great article !! As a 9 year old cub Scout when this article came out I remember having to build something using a detergent bottle , bottle caps, a coat hanger and some other junk. I built a monster...What was I thinking ? LOL

I have many fond memories of reading Boy's Life magazine as a kid... We'd read about things and then go outside and try them. I always dug the little joke section, too.
