Thanks for sharing this article,Brandon...
I find it interesting though that it says on Daves Showrod list that the original was designed by Bob Reisner, yet the article gives all the credit to others---(it is stated in the article in Galpins write up details right after the picture of the interior with the picture of the steering wheel)....
Here is a link to the showrod list where credit is indeed given to Bob Reisner:www.showrods.com/showrod_pages/pink_panther.htmlHmmm,so which designer is the correct one??
Just some facts,Please!!!!

It does look good. It was over here in the UK for a while. Last time owned in Scotland, and auctioned off in 2011. www.carbodydesign.com/2011/09/panthermobile-goes-to-auction/ why it mentions a Swansea V5 road worthiness certificate. (highly unlikely windscreen/wipers/horn/ for an MOT. Never registered. Did it have a US title?? Pink Slip is it?. That has always bugged me, so many names. Is it people who owned it, resprayed it, and put it out on the show circuits. The other Model was Milk Truck, didn't this have many owners who changed the colour many times...Show Circuit put a strain on many vehicles Story Of Roth Mysterion is a classic. I read, so Many people seemed to have worked on it over the years, as their body shop and workload got busy. Joe Bailon made the frames and fitted engine/drivetrain etc. passed on to others. Maybe it evolved from the original design. "each made their mark" I thought it never drove, (Properly, if at all). The engine ran/drove the wheels. stopped (just). Did read someplace a child was the only person to fit the cockpit, and it was pushed from behind, by a few people. Who knows eh?.

Just looking at the photos of the Galpin resto in more detail, it looks like the original's brass header tank and air filter cover have gone AWOL. There appear to be brackets in place for the parts (and at least one hose that doesn't seem to connect to anything), so did someone send it off to the photo shoot without making sure it was all there?

That's what happened... I've seen a few photos of it later and they had it finished.
