The bay lister called it a dragster it was missing the motor and two tires. It sold for 57.00 The same lister sold the motor separately for 14.00. The same bidder won both. I hope one of you guys picked them up.

It was actually complete except for the posts and ropes for the display stand and the trophy. The photo showed some missing pieces but when it came it had everything for the car anyway in a little baggie. The guy said "my brother built this in the 60s or 70s - we took it to the flea market and no one wanted it at $5 so we nearly tossed it in the trash"
Bet he was pretty pleased with the $120 it went for in the end!

Ahhh the ones that got away. We do remember them.
A friend once offered me a Nemo's Car. I turned it down. Saying I probably would not build it. DOH!
