I know the Sizzler name was used for the 1/25 Slingster reissue , but was the (1/20 ? ) scale Bantam bodied Sizzler ever reissued or remade into another kit ?

The Sizzler kit buy itself was pretty cheesy; 1/20th scale so hard to incorporate into other kits, had the clear plastic disk front' wire' wheels, detailing was toy-like. Except- those engines were created for the express purpose of scratch building magnificent dragsters which the Yont's brothers, Jim and Ray, perfected in the mid-60s when they swept both years of the Revell National model contest. Look up photos of their cars in old Rod and Custom and Rod and Custom Models magazines. Here are some snapshots of a '33 Willys gasser I built at the time using their methods, super-detailing the Sizzler kit 392 and assembling the whole thing with 00-90 brass nuts and bolts. I made the body from fiberglass in a plaster mold taken from a wood-carved pattern.
