I'm sure someone here knows the color name or code of the original Gone In 60 Seconds Eleanor Mustang and I need about 3 ounces of it (lacquer preferred) because I'm building 3 '72 Mach 1's for a SIL & her 2 sons who lost their Dad, who owned one (in Eleanor's color) in 1973 but had to give it up because the baby seat wouldn't fit (true) Anyways.... they lost Jimmy to illness and I promised the 3 of them models of the car he gave up for family

That’s a nice thing to do Paul! Sounds like a cool project (or three)
I found this on a Mustang site that I’m on:
Body-Pepper Grey Metallic - Dupont Fleet 44490 Stripes - Black Metallic - Dupont Fleet 44435
Not sure if that’s helpful or not?

Thanks guys! I wish Leon Tefft was still in the model paint business. His Cobra Colors paints were absolutely awesome. I have the kits (They are 72's like his was. most notable difference is the grille) And the specific Ford wheels his had. I guess I could start building now up to the paint point. The interior on his was a dark reddish rust color and I had NEVER let him live down the stupid reason he sold it off. I told him if the seat don't fit, DON'T HAVE KIDS!

After Cobra Colors went I found a year or two ago a company called Tru-Colors Paint in Arizona. They have added a lacquer automotive line but don't know if they have the 6c color.

I'll let you all know how I make out!. The one saving grace in this build is the factory stripes never left sitting in the trunk!

I ordered my Challenger in '71 with out the R/T and 440 bill boards and no vinyl top they all came in the truck also. Never realized the Mopar assembly line installed them before the trip to the dealer. We only sold that car 4 years ago.
