Hi I am just about ready to start my next build which is the AMT 40 Willy's Fat 40 which is done in yellow plastic. I always prime with Rustoleum painters plus 2x gray which has worked well with other colors Does anyone have experience with building a yellow plastic kit. I understand that there is the possibility of bleed through to the final color if not prepared correctly. Any help appreciated. Thanks Production Mgr.

I've painted colored bodies with Krylon silver as a primer and have had no issues with bleed through , including red plastic.

Depends on the top color, a little, but like Don says silver is a pretty safe bet usually 👍🏻
