I tried to email him this summer, but it kept coming back to me as undeliverable . I've tried a few times since then but the results are the same. Does anyone know him, or know if his stuff is still available ?

I talked to him about 9 months ago. At that time he had a ALPS that needed fixed. But as you may know ALPS shutdown the service early and left many of us w/o a printer. He then shutdown. That's all I've heard.

be careful with gooches stuff. I havent had luck with any of them. (like 30 different sheets/designs). They either bleed to death in the water or never come off the paper.

a question on all of this, if alps has shut down all together, what are many of these aftermarket decal makers gonna use? . Mike Grant in Canada relies a lot on Alps, Decal Dan does also. Keith Marks will print some decals as long as you have a good scan, or let him borrow the original, I have had good luck with Keith. I have to agree with Paul, Gooche decals do have problems, I had a set of reprints for a Jungle Jim car and they sucked, it bleeded everywhere. there was a seller on ebay Fokus-Mail-Order, I don't know what their current id is, but they had the same problem as gooche, one problem was crappy scans printed on the decal paper, also one dead giveaway was their prices, usually $7 and up on all decals sets on ebay. back to the subject, wasn't the alps the only printer that printed white, gold and silver?

ALPS did print white, gold and silver metallic. It was the only printer that did that. ( Roland and Oki did too but were ALPS under license and they are gone now too) If Fokus is gone I'll be happy. He bought 4 defferent decals from me and then was able to sell MANY copies of each??? Wonder how??? Gooche was a decent guy but did a lot of scan and print....which does not work...IMHO
