I awoke with a very weird dream this morning. I was dreaming that the black outlining around the gold letters on the project I decaled up last night was curling off leaving just the gold. You could tell what it was, but it was very hard to read.
As I was trying to roll the black outline back into place, this annoying alarm kept going off and someone yelling [glow=red,2,300]" WAKE UP WAKE UP WAKE UP! "[/glow] I wonder why your post made me think of that.......
Nonetheless, I have a sister and brother in law in Osh Kosh (both working for Osh Kosh Truck) So I'm a sometimes, somewhat Packer Backer, but, not when the Pats are on the other side of the field.

Does Packer mean something different in the States ? Down here a packer is someone who puts stuff in boxes or we have a saying that someone "Packs s#!t". Implying they have soiled them selves and run away from a situation Just curious no offense intended.

I always thought that "Packers" had something to do with the meat-packing industry out ther in the midwest. In the states, a "fudge-packer" enjoys listening to Barbara Streisand and may style hair for a living...

(not that Viking fans have much to brag about anyway)

They didn't have to pay the people featured anything, they just had to give them permission to graze on the field during half-time.

They told me it goes back 75 years ago and refers to MEAT PACKERS.
I have a sister in neighboring Osh Kosh.. could be a cool Superbowl if everything rolls into place

Yep, Pauls right...goes back to 1918..ACME Meat Packing Company Team...joined the nfl in 1919. The cheeseheads go back to the '80 when Chicago Bears placekicker Kevin Butler's disdain and hate for the rival had him saying..."I hate everything about the team, even the color of their uniforms, their helmets look like cheese on their heads".
Well needless to say, when the Bears came up to play in Milwaukee(they used to play 1/2 home games there), people fashion cheese wedges from foam cushions and painted them yellow gold.(I even made one ;D). then some entrepreneur decided to manufacture them and the rest they say is history.
