If you want to know what all Lindberg/Hawk is planning on releasing, the catalog is now available (PDF format) to download off the 'net ... here's the link: www.lindberg-models.com/catalog.htmYou can also get some desktop wallpaper for your computer as well! Have to admit, that Pirate Skull looks kinda neat! But what the heck on that Blue Devil Destroyer ship ... the deck looks warped and isn't fitting right in that picture!!!

I heard a rumour that Chuck D, a semi-regular here, has some knowledge of the new company. Maybe he will tell all about it.

The skull is awesome looking. I'm extremely suprised the 61 Impala isn't in the line up. It's a great kit

Holy crap! I didn't know they were going to be doing some new tooling! An 1/8th scale Tall T rather than all the roadsters kicks major a$$. Not my favorite body. I'd prefer a '27 but hey, I can work with it. That'll make a killer 1/8th rat rod! Awesome!

Well, I do know that all the kits on the website aren't all the cars that are supposed to be reissued. like all the Mopars,Olds442, Bugatti,MercedesSSK, and 1910 Model T to name a few .. As far as the Deck on the boat being warped , I really can't see it clear enough to determine if it's "builder error" or what...lol...

I'm sure it will be back, they probably just forgot to put it in the catalogs. ;D

Hey Chuck, which Olds 442 is it? If they are bringing a 70 to 72 442 I'd be very very happy. I have a boxing of it from the eighties which has optional parts to build all three versions in one box--a huge three-in-one kit. The prototype seems to have been a East Coast rod, so it looks a bit odd to our modern eyes, which are attuned to West Coast-style rods. But the kit has a lot of neat parts, and could be the basis for a pretty cool model. Mine is motorized--the motor hides inside the engine block (looks like a Ford) and engages the rear axle by pulling back on the shift lever.

Whoops, should've looked at the catalog before spouting off.
I've never seen the T coupe before--how interesting! Looks stupid on the chassis they've got it perched on, but hey, we can fix that.

Half of me thinks this sounds fun, having a motorized rod that works by using the shifter. Then there's the other half of me that freaks when a model nearly falls off a shelf because the wheels moved a little ... and now here's something that can move under its own power! ;D (yea, I know, just don't put the motor in ... but I'd probably do it, just for the fun of it!)

Oh yeah, the body and engine are all that I'd need to make that baby look real cool. A Z'ed frame sitting on the ground with the body sectioned over it. Maybe chop the top (or not). Add a cool set of wheels and tires from the Monogram kit and wallah! You've got yourself a cool looking hot rod. That high boy look goes back to an era that I don't care for. I either like the real early low show cars/bonneville cars or the more modern traditional hot rods (or rat rods if you prefer). In any case, just having a 1/8th coupe versus the variety of roadsters and without having to buy a 1/8th resin body it'll be great. A.J. Whoops, should've looked at the catalog before spouting off.
