me and my yongest son jackson are going to see the monster trucks run this saturday night. they will be in the rca dome here in idy. we lucked out, and got really great seats. we will be 6 rows back from the front, and right in the center. i'll definitly get alot of pics, and some short video. the rca dome is pretty big, so i'm hoping that they will be able to get up some decent speed. grave digger is jacksons favorite...and well....mine too.

Sounds really fun Rob, especially with your son!!! Back in December they had indoor drags, wheelstanders, exhibition cars, and drifting. I really wanted to take my son, but it happened to be the same night as my wifes X-Mas party... Oh well, they will be back. These kinda things are awesome for Fathers & Sons!!! Have a blast!!!

Bring some earplugs Rob for both of you. You've probably been before, but these things are really loud, especially in the indoor arena's. They're always kinda fun, and kids do love them. Have a good time with your son! How's your other boy doing by the way? Hadn't asked in a while. Hope he is doing well.

My four year old son loves monster trucks ! He has a a bunch of the Hot wheels trucks , and can name everyone of them. He watches monster jam and always yells out "we saw that one !" whenever he sees one that was at a show we went to. Hes turning into a real gear head ..I'm not sure if thats bad or good ! Oh yeah, our favorite is also the Gravedigger.Hey ,its a panel truck, so I'm loving it. Years ago it used to be a Ford, and was silver and purple.

I would show you guys some of the models I have built over the years but you might send the happy police after me. I monsterize EVERYTHING. Some of the ones I have done are Richard Petty stock cars, the General Lee, a Pinto ;D I still have a "Munsters Monster" that I need to finish. As soon as my wife saw a bus body that I picked up the first thing she asked was if i was going to Monsterize it I gotta say that the "original" monster truck, Bigfoot, will always be my favorite.
Have fun with your son

of corse, grave digger is my fav. but maximum destruction is a close second. i just love it when they freestyle, and go balls out. it looks like they are doing alot of damage to the trucks, but really all they are tearing up is the body (i heard that the grave digger bodies are quite expensive, considering the paint scheme. the 25th anniversary grave digger body was $20,000.00 and he destroyed it !) really, i think the most comoon "hard"parts that they break are axles, maybe a trans. or steering arm.
