are you kidding me ?? that's insane. in my honest opinion, the rattler is pretty ugly, and that's alot of dough to fork over for it. i didn't ever think one would sell for that much.

I was watching that one too. Unreal isn't it? I sold mine in or around 2000 when I first got my PC, I think it went for around the $25.00-30.00 range it was opened & S/I.
If I still had it I would give it to you Dave.

YIKES !! I'm glad I still have the one I built in '75 . Its not perfect, but I could never pay that much for a kit . I thought it was ugly when I bought it, but there was no other decent things to build at our local store - I guess I'm lucky it survived all these years

It being a 1/8 scale and I only seen one up close in my lifetime. the 1/24-25 scales are a more common scale. For those the $$$ are for bragging rights and not builders.

I'd like to have a King Chopper(to build) because I remember it as one of my favorites as a kid. My little brother disassembled it little by little. Thinking back on it, I believe I still owe him an a$$-whoopin' for it. Hmmmmm............

I don't believe it. I got a Trantula for 28 bucks! Of course, it's not a '68('69?), but I could give 2 scoots. I have a Trantula(well, it ain't shipped yet but........) once again. Note to self: Do not let my brother play with my models.

When I sold off all of my AMT wacky kits a few years back, they all went big bucks like this. I sold at least a dozen of them for no less than 275.00 and most went well over 300 bucks. They put a nice dent in the parts list for my Coupe, and I have no regrets! Same with some of the big buck Hot Wheels I sold. I still have plenty!
