I finished that at 10:00 Friday night. the paint is not super-spectacular, but after several years in the making, and SIX previous paint jobs with a can of horrible paint that kept bubbling, it looks fine enough to me.
Sometime around paint job 4 or 5 this thing literally was thrown on the floor and I had my boot above it.. I almost stomped it into bits... must be getting soft in my old age, but I was MAD.... I call it the Boss Rod 'cause I had to show it who was boss and finish it. ;D

ONE day I have to turn the Splittsville over to Steve Caranza... we are still in the middle of the original deal... he owes me money, I owe him a model... it's his, though. When our paths cross again it'll go home. ;D Then I'll have to build another.... I should do a how-to article.....
