read on here someone talking about putting in windshields and headlights with "white glue" are they just talking about elmers? been out of this for awhile, any new tricks cant hurt !

It may be Elmer's , but I've always bought the Testors white ..

you can probably get away with using elmers...i think all white glue is pretty much the same. i use some stuff called "tacky glue" that you can get at any craft store or wal mart. it's about the same as elmers, but it's a little thicker, and it seems to be stickier...it holds windows in place better while it's wet.

I use Weldbond as I find it is a little stronger than Elmers.

Testors Clear Part Cement and Windowmaker. Works great and dries crystal clear. One drawback, your part has to lay nearly flat until dry which takes about 24 hours to fully dry. You can also make windows out of it if you have a frame by spreading it out on fresh wax paper and letting it dry over night.

A lot of the aircraft guys use Elmer's to glue on canopies. Not very strong though. Duck
