I was just sittin here having my juice and morning meds and had a warm and fuzzy about how cool it really is that all us whacky plastic maniacs are able to meet here, develope friendships and share ideas. Kind of like a daily model car magazine coupled with a support group. I'm grateful and happy youse guys are all out there, because I'd feel very lonely if you weren't.

I'm here everyday now reading the latest of what's going on with everyone. It's a good place for inspiration for new builds, old builds, stalled builds....I think you get the idea. Keep up the great work people! ;D

It also helps when you meet face to face...even if some of our faces are scary...and you really get to build a friendship...hey, this is sounding kinda mushy...this is truly sharing a hobby You know you are friends when... ...you have dinner with SoooooperDave and watching him eat a 32 oz steak while drooling over the waitress ...you share breakfast with the guys after shopping in the parking lot at 6AM ...you trade parts and ideas and tips just because ...you always leave a show feeling better because you met some friends

Yep how would I ever have met a cool guy like Groucho had it not been for these forums? We can say we got pals from all over the world! Canada even! haha! Me an Groucho sat and talked models and stuff for breakfast, just like we knowed eachother all our lives, hadn't seen him for two years, but our hobby is our bond and these forums hold us together. Can you imagine our phone bills if we didn't have the Corner??? LOL

i can't agree more. we have all kinds of different personalitis here from all walks of life. for the most part, we all get along great and we are all willing to share ideas, tricks, and tips. it's not often that you will run across a group that will tell all their secrets as to how they did something. i'm telling you, in the 10 plus years that i have been coming here, my skills have turned around 360 degrees from where they were back then. i've learned so much from everyone here...and i've made some great friends along the way. i don't know what i'd do without this place...it is the ONE site that i have remained dedicated to for all these years. nothing is top secret here, and that's what makes it so great.

That's the word of the day..Friends. I was just tellin' my wife this morning a few of my friends from toronto couldn't make the D. auto show because of global warming, ( we don't buy into the warming scam.)etc.. She said you have friends in Toronto? Well I guess I do.. This is the BEST model club around.. BiLL..

One of the things I like about this place, is that there aren't any "rivet-counters". I like to think of myself as a recovering rivet counter. I couldn't put together anything with wings that didnt' end up with a bazillion dollers is aftermarket resin, decals, photoetch..and even then, if the panel line were off, it would end up in a box in the closet.
That and I really enjoy checking out the krazy ideas that happen in this place!
