Thanks guys. I'm glad to see it to this point finally.
After the bodywork, it went to primer, to silver basecoat, tangerine pearl basecoat, kandy tangerine toner, kandy aztec gold toner, then a topcoat of the gold again with rainbow super-microflake in it! I figured the flake would help disguise any more specs that showed up in the finish! LOL.

That Rotar is a resin kit from way back. Still need the front headlight thingies which have taken a walk somewhere..... One of the guys on here got me decals after about a 5 year wait! LOL.
And by the way, photo's are great to hide sh*t. There's specs.....

The Pie Wagon was one of the first showrods I built upon discovering them, and I always thought it would look better chopped/lowered. Now that you've provided the blueprint I'm inspired to attempt it.

A bit of history, Tim, and anybody else, about Rotar. Roth built Rotar shortly before Barris created his ground effects machine. The biggest difference between the two is that Roths actually worked ( not too well however, but did rise of of the ground ). When Barris demonstrated his creation, he used a very large parachute to hide the hydraulic jack for lifting. I do not know how Roth came to use the name Rotar but I do know that the original name for the Barris car was "O 4 Q 2". Say that real fast and you will understand why Barris changed it. ( shortly after he started to show it ).
