Scott, what are you making these parts with? Is that steel, or are you using aluminum tube and such? Turning it on a mini-lathe? Just curious......Cool stuff.

K&S Aluminum tubing is the material. THe tools are exatos, files, and sand paper. Lathe? We don't need no stinkn' lathes! (But it would be nice.)

Once you start getting carried away with detailing, it's hard to not continue, and it seems that ideas are everywhere (at least for me anyway) You've done some really cool things on this one Scott!!! As for lathes....who needs 'em, I use a gear drive Makita drill, or my Dremel, and a vast array of files, etc.

Scott! are you a freakin Jewler??? that is some of the most intricate, beautiful, and intense work I've ever seen on a drive shaft...Real, or scale!!! I gotta admit that I think I missed all this the first time I saw your "C" it's so underrated, and subtle...I looked through your album and saw all the progress... all the "bolts" all the tie rods...My god man, you aren't a model builder you're an artist, you're what I try and do, but never fully achieve! Stunning work.
