I hate to keep bothering ya with every little detail, but these things take time and can really make a model stand out. One of the reasons I delayed, was I knew I could get one of those prewired distributors, yeah yeah I know haha, with purple wire, so I got it today and made a little ignition coil too out of aluminum tubing. I dulled out the carbs a little too. I've made alot of progress on the interior, got a few snags to get past and you'll be seeing that next.

For one thing Dave, your not bothering any of us here. This is the kind of stuff that keeps us all going, and we love every post, every picture, and all the little details of all the builds that everyone is doing. Besides, who else can you share all the excitement with other than the wife, the dog, or cat? Keep sharin' with all us goofballs, we love it!!! And......The build is looking better & better all the time!!!

Dave, your one of the best "in-progress" guys there is. You kept the kitbash site alive with your "how-to's" and in progress stuff! Keep it coming! This thing is just awesome!

Yep, keep'um comin Davey! looks brilliant! I don't suppose you have some purple clear? or rad and blue kickin around, to fill in the Chev emblems with eh? a little purple chrome accent to fill in the centres? God I love this thing! looks beautiful! wish I had it in my collection, and I haven't even seen it complete yet! I love you Dave!!!...Um, I mean, I love it Dave! absolutely Love it!

Just as a little constructive criticism Id've removed that seam line on the gearbox and laid down a couple more coats of purple on there so it covers more evenly...but it looks sweet man, I'm just nit picking anyway.
Nice work Dave!

I'd hazard to guess he smoothed the bottom of the motor and left that seam because the body will hide it? Only speaking from experience. ;D (I hate sanding, really, I do.....) Dave?

Fact of the matter is, this is kind of a transparent paint, and the flash on my camera really goes thru it. In natural lighting it all looks more even. I'm going to try to get a better lighting setup for my fotos.
