I finally got the pulleys in place, and a Lil Yeller radiator/headlights found their way to the front end. Slowly but surely, my Name Game build is getting done.

This reminds me of something Carl Casper would have built. Nice styling, but still radical. Good use of color, and big horsepower. I'm diggin' it Dave.

I had hoped to see this one in the open show rod challenge, but you didn't get it done, and that's probably best now!! This is a really kool idea, and I think combing these two scales makes some kick butt ShowRods. Keep at it man!!!

That is one wicked tow truck.. Awesome work on it.... What are the front tires from? The front tires, rear tires, chassis, most of the engine... all from the Gridiron Grabber. The extra blower came from the Groovy Grader, and the wheels and headers came out of the Chuck Wagon. The cab was left over from one of my Lil' builds, and the tow truck rig is from an old MPC Datsun pickup/showrod thingie (EDIT: just remembered: SCAVENGER) that I picked up in a bag at a model swap for $5.00. Fred, when I saw how you used the Lil' Yeller body as a cab for your Lil' Hangman, I almost stole the idea and scrapped this cab altogether. All the time in paint (much of it with a brush!) kept me from trashing it for a Lil' Yeller version. Besides, I want to make a San Francisco cable car-rod using my Lil' Yeller.

Scurvy I can't believe you're thinkin' to make a San Francisco cable car-rod Too.. I have a small scale trolly kit and 1/32 Fast ones semi kit to bash together some day. I always liked the Toonsville Trolley.. BiLL..

Hey Scurvy...are you sure the headers and wheels came from the Chuck Wagon? They sure look like they came from the PopCorn Wagon. Headers may have been slightly altered? Just curious. Not nit pickin' your build. It looks great!

Not nit pickin' your build. It looks great! You're probably right - I threw all my leftover 1/20 showrod parts into one box... you know how it goes. I cut the turnouts off the end to give them the "weedburner" look.
