Last night Frankie got his new Converse high tops! I taped off and airbrushed the white, then went in by hand and did the black area's, and then the stitch lines. The decals I made worked out pretty well. I need to go back in with the airbrush and just highlite the black a bit to degloss it some. Ol' Frank has come a long way since 1964....

What a great direction to take this Tim!!!!............I mean Big Frankie is just plain Cool, but if you have seen one painted Big Frankie in typical frankenstein colors you have seen a hundred of them. But to give him sneakers with big white laces and jeans and the "Greaser" look is just the nutz!!!!.......He will great hangin' out in the passenger seat of your ride!!!

WOW, what a difference those sneakers make ! Hey. if you go with the sunglasses suggestion, I'd take a look in the childrens section. My four year old picked up a pair at wallyworld this summer ,and they look like blues brothers glasses.

He's both Bill. The underlying tones ae flour. green, then I hit him with like 3 other shades of green, and a color called "Frankenflesh" which is a grayish green. I also used "Open wound magenta", some blue, and some violet to get the tones I wanted. These Badger colors all have bizarre names on them!
