I want to do some different parts for the Revell bikes, so I started on a new style wheel. When finished it will have more shape like an American 5 spoke wheel. What do you think?

I think those are gonna be the best wheels I've seen yet on those bikes! And what's gonna be cool is hopefully you can do you wheel centers the frame color like the OCC guys do alot. As usual I'm building one and I'm stalled...I just look at the ones Timbo has build and I just sigh and wanna give up hahaha! Beeyooteefull!!! Make me some??? hehe

That's pretty slick John. I guess it's unlimited what a person can do with a little thought, and your living proof!
Keep us posted! Interested in seeing where this goes.
By the way, I watched American Choppers the other day for the first time in a long time. Your stuff blows there's away. The "Australia Bike". What a themed joke. (No offense Joe!) The airbrush work was sub-standard with this new guy. The colors in general were aweful. Those guys should check in here for idea's! (or with you anyways....)

What??!!!..........No Kwala Bear skin seat?? ;D ;D.........Shrimp on the Bar-by rack on the rear fender??!! ;D ;D ;D ;D...........I can't believe these guys are making stupid amounts of money for basically building the same bike over and over in different colors and added little do-dads!!! I stopped watching this show also, it is so scripted............Will the bike get done in time???............Will Paulie Jr. lose it and walk out??............Will Paul Sr. blow a gasket and start yelling???...............Are people that stupid that they keep watching and feeding into this? ..............I am really surprised that they have still been going this long. Funny thing is, they became famous because of the bickering/fighting between Jr. and Sr. when they were a struggling metal shop and building acouple bikes...........it really had nothing to do with their motorcycles.

Yep, I quit watching the show too!!! I agree, they keep doing the same looking bike over & over, with the exception of a few. Granted, I have every 1/10 diecast bike RC2 did, except that stupid Christmas bike. The thing that chaps my butt is the fact this show is still on, but they dumped the Biker Build Off series!! Go figure I have made some progress on the wheels, although they didn't even come close to what I wanted (I should have known by the way I drew them out.....duh!!) These have more of a European, or race car look, still kinda cool. What do you think?Today I made two more sets of rims & blanks. I know where I flubbed up, and how to "try" to achieve the look I'm after.....like these....Maybe even a set of these directional 5 spokes.....And, yes, for our Lil buddy down under, I will attempt INVADERS!!! with a modern touch....

I agree John, I'm not sure why they dumped the Biker Build-Off and American Chopper is still on. The last build that inspired me was the POW bike. I was a lot more impressed by some of the builds by the Arlen Ness boys then anything from OCC in the past couple of seasons. Perhaps it's time of an email blitz campaign to TLC to get their act together and show what happens in other parts of the country just not in Orange County New York

Cool bike Jason!!!
Ok, I think I'm getting the hang of this... Here is my newest attempt at making a torque thrust wheel, there are 21 pieces of sheet plastic in this one (not counting the hubs and rim) Time will tell....

This is a tedious job!!! I'm kinda getting what I'm after, but it's hard to keep symmetry doing this, and I don't know how well they would look after casting, but I'm going to keep working on them.
