Your not pouting are you Tim? That's a great tip Scott, I've done it before, and it works great!!! It's pretty amazing how much stuff can be made from a pop can. (a beer can works for those over 21.... ;D)

i've made moon tanks, grill inserts, truck bed floors and other stuff out of pop can aluminum. i've made roll cages, straight axles, motorcycle handlebars and exhaust pipes out of coat hanger. i'bve made big scale zoomie headers out of plastic coat hangers. header flanges out of old plastic credit cards. i made bolt heads by making an imprint in clay, and then melting candle wax into the imprints. (yes, you can paint candle wax). i've made tires and radiator hoses out of deisel engine rubber o-rings. motorcycle drag pipes out of copper wire. there's so many things you can make out of every day stuff. i make it a challenge to myself to try and make parts out of stuff i find laying around.

Thank for that tip Scott. I used to use the control knobs from GM cars from the 80's when I needed moon discs, but those have all dried up.

Scott,
Nice stuff! Don't tell me - the same pop cans will donte their sides for your smooth bellypan, right?
