This was given to me by a friend, who found it in the trash . I wanted to build it stock, but I couldn't find a hood for it, so I had to go drag racing. I wanted to put the Pontiac nose on an old pro Nova kit, but there was so much glue on the body, I had no choice but to save it .The drivetrain is all Nova. The stripe is candy lime over white, somehow it came out yellow. I'm thinking of changing the rims -they look too shiny. It may not look perfect, but after six trips to the dunk tank due to dust, drips, etc. I wasn't taking a chance at another paint job !

Don!! I love the drag stuff! This save looks great. I wouldn't change a thing. If the wheels are to shiny for you, brush a little dullcote on them. They look nice though, period correct.

Shameless plug for my new "Magic Seam Powder" article, over on Internet Modeler: I hope Don doesn't mind me quoting him, from an e-mail exchange: "I tried your technique on a junker I had to get the hang of it, and then used it on the pontiac ventura that I restored recently. The back window area had some damage when the glass came out (sometime in the cars life!) and I was able to repair it using this method. I'm sure it will help other people as well."
