Things are slowing down a bit on the Beauty as I hack out some details. The transaxle is just about ready for paint. The high mount suspension is need to keep from disturbing the airflow through the tunnels. Hosted on FotkiWith all that horsepower. I needed a better cage. Shame to paint that pretty aluminum. Hosted on FotkiNext is the interior panels and intercooler plumbing. I have been racking my brain on the best way to make the side scoops. It's all getting pretty tight in there. The brick should be gathering dust by now. Thanks for waiting, Timbo. Flounder.

Geez Scott. You seriously get the award for most fidgety detail stuff! Yikes! All kinds of nifty stuff going on there! Nice job on the rollcage! Is that just roll solder? If so, make sure you clear it after polishing (if you dont paint it). I didn't do some headers a few years back and they got all nasty! I DID clear the exhaust on the Ghoul Bus, and they still shine! Did you get all of your body configurations figured out? Everything fitting in here? I thought of you last night, while watching a show about how they engineered the Lunar Rover to fit in the small space on the side of the Lunar Lander. Amazing stuff. Keep up the great work! Look forward to seeing it done. I finally finished mine up. It can wait for you.

Hurry up...Hizoot: Lunched at Joey's today with PC3 Scribbles Which Joey's did you go to & who's PC3..? I guess it could be Pete as Steveo suggested if you were in Chino Hills... After all, So. Cal. Speed is only a few miles from there. But then it could be Paul Canney as well..!
My home girls, Desi, Christine & Monica still work there but they changed the menu & jacked the prices up. Remember it was sooo crowded before ? I see a lot fewer people there now days...
Next time, give me a hoot & I'll meet up with ya..! If you want, we can bring Flounder, the food might give him enough energy to finish this project..!Hizoot ;D

Are we there yet. Are we there yet? Are we there yet?!!!! No, not yet. But, I have been working on it. Beauty got a 1/25 scale dude in her cage. He's only yellow for now, Nolan. Front suspension is done and steers the right way. Hosted on FotkiBeen doing LOTs of body clean up and correction. It's almost done. Oh, you can't get a clean edge without a sanding block. These were made from clothes pins in just a few seconds. Hosted on FotkiMade some fuel tanks. We have fuel, water, and oil. I found the right size aluminum tube AFTER I made these. I'll be trying some faux spun aluminum techniques on these. Hosted on FotkiHere are the water and fuel tanks in place. And here is the Marek inspired roughed out intake to turbo ducting. This is the third try. It still needs to get the final shaping. Hosted on FotkiAnd finally, the exhaust tip - they are designed to look like Corvette taillights. Hosted on FotkiSo I am working almost on it almost every day. I know that all the detail is not part of the deal, but you have to admit, it makes for an interesting model. Here is what I have left to go: Figure out where to put the cute and push bars. I hate to break up the body lines with a chute. I am thinking either a removable body panel or a recessed body color chute. Finish intake ducting Finish exhaust system Finish bracketry Finish intercooler ducting Open and hinge hatch. Make windshield Make pedals Pre detail engine. Begin finishing process. Flounder

Aye Flounder me boy! She is a beaut she is! You anal wart. I knew you couldn't do a curbside! LOL! It is yet another piece of Colmer artwork buddy! I'm diggin' the details! You'll probably win 80000 awards with it. In the meantime, the "Brick" is sittin' and waitin'. I'm here when you are done. Take your time.
