I recently aquired an MPC Dodge Thunder Charger partially built kit. It is missing a few pieces. I believe some of the parts can be substituted from a regular Charger kit, I hope. -center console and shifter -rear center console -windshield(would have to trim it) -hood(I hope) -rear tail light both chrome and red pieces Parts missing that are probably unique to this kit: -clear top hatch -headlights both chrome and clear(I have one of the chrome pieces) -center grille chrome piece. -rear wing -Lake pipes Does anyone resin cast the unique parts I am missing or am I going to have to searching? What is the best way to store the tires so they don't ruin any of the plastic parts? Thanks, Marty

By coincidence, I was just watching my recently acquired DVD set of Season One episodes of GET SMART and there was a "spy" car used in a couple of these early shows (prior to them settling on the little red Sunbeam) that looks very similar to this Charger although I don't know believe it was this. I will attempt to post a photo shot. The sixties were some interesting times for showcars appearing in situational comedies of the day. ;D Anyone see this before or know what it actually is? Gerry G

AND I get to pay shipping?!? You are awesome! I wish I had more friends like you!! BTW - That is $3.00 more then I paid for it. ;D It was at an auction and one of my "friends" was there. He got there before me so I asked what he was bidding on. We compared lists and I did not bid on anything he was. He missed this model maybe because it was in a Lindberg Mercedes model kit box. When it came time for this one we were the only ones bidding on it! I bid first and he bid me up!! Marty

I scored an old 1 time only issue of a car called "Early Bird / Here Comes the Judge" T-Bird .. picked it up mint in the box at a model show.. the real kicker was that I paid an "Early Bird" fee for the show and scored it for $20.00 at the 1st table I visited. If you need a photo of the glass top for your Thunder Charger PM me and I'll fire you pic .. Starry Eyes

Gerry G That was an Mustang done by Barris for one on the Rat Packers (Dean Martin or Frank Sinatra) It's in his TV/Movie car book

I have the MPC/ERTL Charger kit. It has a yellow Charger on the box. There are a few(very few) Thundercharger parts in the kit. I can look to see if any of the small parts I have are what you need. P.S., put the tires in a small Pill Bottle, or Ziplok Baggy. It's what I do.

I knew it was Frank Sinatra and ALMOST said Mustang but I knew that Barris did an AMX that was close.
Still, a lot of nice diecast cars up there. My favorite in my collection is the Incredible Hulk Hot Wheels that I got for .10 and it was near mint. I looked in the book when I got home to find out it was worth over 25.oo the way it sits.

Mr. Barris was impressed with Joes work (casting) so..... So, um, Joe, are you still casting those things. After seeing that Mustang, well, I have an idea but need the TC body to make it work. Anybody else thinking the same thing I am (other than it looks like it would be harder than heck to do ;D )
