Tim's coupe post got me thinking about the people here and the cars we drive. Most of us have some kind of full sized car to tinker with... Dave's GTO and Chevelle, Paul's Mustang, AJ's Volksrod, Rob's Poncho, etc... I know there are several of us that have 1973 vehicles for whatever reason.... Lets see your project, running or not, new or old. I think it would make a neat thread. My two: '73 Plymouth Satellite Sebring I've had this '59 Beetle since I was 18, it has a Type 4 2.0L camper van motor.

(would bikes be acceptable???) Yes! Bikes, boats, planes, trains.... what do you tinker with when you are not building models?

Chuck, either one of those pickemups for sale? The Wiffee is jones'un for an old truck as of late. Looking for a street cruiser ? highway cruiser? or one that does both ? Well the '36 has a bone stock later model 235 (bearing insert) inline 6 with a split manifold done by your truely .. Original '36 Bellhousing, '71 Nova 3 speed syncromesh and an S-10 rearend with a 4:10 posi .. windshield cranks out, electric wiper on Dr.Side .. no heat, no AC ,Walker Radiator. Original fuel tank under the seat .. Dolphin gauges, 48 Chevy front end w'disc brake conversion .. a great in town cruiser but definately not a highway cruiser !! I do have a spare rear end with a much lower gear (300 ratio ?) and fresh 235 engine (complete) that would go with it ... the '52 is loaded - with 4 corner Air-Ride Technology suspension, 4 link,Heidts rack and pinion, Wilwood Quad front disc brake calipers ,stainless lines, ISS seat, Griffin Radiator,355cid, 700r4 trans, 98 Camaro posi-trak 3:23's ,17" Slatflat Specials, flowmasters, tilt, air, heat, electric "Raingear" wipers, new DOT windshield glass, AM/FM/CD/MP# player,Carrera steering wheel, IDIDIT column, Lokar shifter w/digital readout, Classic gauges ..

Although those are both the T!TS, prolly neither would suit her. I prefer the 36, she would like the 52. She just wants to crawl in (she likes the comfort of a reclining chair), put in drive (sorry Paul) and go. Themzesisomebitchin rides though. Jis fer giggles though, got a round about dollar it would take to drop the hammer on either?

Jis fer giggles though, got a round about dollar it would take to drop the hammer on either? '36 - 21,900 with spare parts.. cab is rock solid - bed is lined with new oak and stainless runners,, also all the running boards, rear fenders ect. are installed with stainless nuts and bolts .. this truck has been in the family for decades and was originally built in St. Louis and was a 1 1/2 ton truck .. It's still on the original frame but shortened !! The original truck didn't have rear fenders because it was listed on the title as a 1936 Feedmixer flat bed .. I replaced both front fenders with glass which fit like a glove .. very heavy and very nice.. very smooth .. done in base coat / clear coat .. all parts were glass beaded sealed , primered and painted inside out... '52 - 29,900 - this truck is as solid as you'll find .. the picture is in the early stages last year.. it now sports a used windshield visor and a 40's Caddy hood ornament ..

Not much in my stable. My wifes 68 Ford F-100 with a factory 390, C-6 auto and a 9 inch out back. Factory buckets, pretty bare bones... sitting outside at her mom and dad's. And my project that will probably not see pavement in a century or more. It's a 30 Model A. It's been like this since it came home. I sold the motor and trans, as well as the front fenders. If and when I get it done it'll be a sedan, chopped, channelled and lowered.

My 1978 Ford Pinto Squire wagon. 2.3L with an auto (A whopping 88HP ;D). 65000 original miles with a re-paint and "wood" replacement about 6 years ago. I also have another 78 Squire wagon (white) with a V6 and red plaid interior (needs a lot of work) as well as a 1980 Mercury Bobcat that needs work so....

Here's my "winter ride", a 2000 model Chrysler Stratus/Sebring convertible. I imported it from Koeln/Germany in oct 2004. Runs great even on slippery winter-roads...... ;D And here's my new summer-toy, a 2001 model Kawasaki 1500 Drifter which I've also imported from Germany.
