Hope you guys are not tired of S'Cool Buses. I finally decided to put one together. Brandon did a photoshop of a SB with shortened windows. I have always thought the same thing so here is the start. Ruffed in, still a lot of putty-ing and sanding. I painted the areas between the sheetmetal (yellow) then masked it off from the inside and glued it together. Now I'm getting rid of the edge seam.

Gives new meaning to the phrase, "Short Bus"!... But of course, it's not really shorter, is it? It just kind of looks that way with the smaller windows, doesn't it?

Thanks for the positive vibes guys. I will say it is easier to chop a top than shorten the windows. Johnny, I like what you have done with yours. I would like to do one with the old front end and make it a wheelstander. Thanks Dana for the bus body to cut on. You may be looking at John's build, I'm using the stock (mid 60's chevy) front end. John's looks like a 50 chevy front end. With Johnny's modifications and Skulldude's recent build, I have to pay homage to one of the great builders on this site with his S'Cool Bus Build. I saved the pics 'cause it's one of my fav-o-rites!

That is so awesome! (and a lot of bodywork!) Glad to see somebody taking it on... it's going to be cool. I think it will be a huge improvement over the original design.... Here's my eternal school bus project Old School: A twin-hemi gasser... I need to get it out and mess with it.... And I need a Schoolbus chassis if anyone has a junker.... Everything but the body. I have a couple of Fast Bucks I want to stretch and make a Funny Truck out of...
