This was my entry for the Grabber contest . Basically a stock build with the exception of the distributor and wiring. This was my first ever wiring job on a kit ( the engine was so big I had to try it). The coil was made from the wheel bearing off an old Johnny lightning car. Nearly all the chrome was stripped off or dullcoted, as I thought the chrome made it look too "fake". I painted the rims with a wash of thinner and black paint make the details stick out. The steering wheel and shift knob are painted with clear orange. I found some guage decals from an old nascar sheet and they were a perfect fit .Many thanks go out to Bob for making the dolphin decals, he really went out of his way to help me. I have to say when I looked at the box art it really turned me off from building it, and although its probably the goofiest thing I've built, I'm happy with the results
