Hey Hogs! I bought a built up Zinger Van off of E-bay. After receiving it, it appears to be a "home made" Zinger. Do any of you guys have pics of the kit so I can see the parts that are wrong on mine. I beleive the wheels, axles, and chassis are incorrect. The only thing correct may be the body.
I built this kit when I was a kid and can't remember a thing about it.

Hey Thanks Iron Head! I looked at the site and saw some good pics, like this one I guess I should have said I need pics of the bottom of the Super Van or pics of the parts on the sprues. Here is the one I bought.

Hey Bert, just thought I'd ring in now that you've posted a pic. That Van Zinger appears to be the way it should be. Everything look correct on it. At least from what I can see.

Thanks AJ! Here is the reason I ask. The bottom plate is ribbed sheet styrene and the rear axle is glued on with the differential facing straight up into the plate. I can make it into a nice build, I was just curious about parts. I may see if I can locate a CB Freak kit for parts.
Buzz, she has probably seen her better days come and go.

Well Bert, are you sure it's actually ribbed styrene? Those kits were pretty simplistic in the way things went together. Most didn't have any form of a drive shaft or anything like that. So usually the differential just had a spot where it sort of blended into the pans. On the VW I think the differential is vertical to the pan.
Fun kits though, I like them a lot.

The CB Freak is fashioned after the LiL Red Zinger I believe.

Thanks Iron Head! No, I don't need the instructions. I have a CB Freak. I unsealed it last night to look around. It's very different from the Super Van. I have plans for the Freak already. I'll just find another one. Anybody have one to trade or sell?
I'll get it all figured out when I get the van stripped and pulled apart.
Thanks AJ for your help! ;D
