Now that is a kit I most certainly would enjoy building for sure! That is good news! Hopefully with them re-issuing all of these different kits, they will be able to make the money they need! If not, then the short term is great but the long term will totally rot! I am liking seeing all of these kits come back out so lets hope they do well! Jody

That's a kit I would love to build as I never got the chance the first time it was issued. Gotta love these guys for doing all these re-issues. It's like being a kid again. ;D

i was thinking about this the other day when i saw that the depth charger is coming. the depth charger and the royal rail both use the same rear tires. I know that sounds funny to think about, but if they are popping the depth charger, and the tires are the same, maybe they will eventually do all of the kits that share these same tires ?

One fact that I do know is the molds do exist for all these Bogosian/Carlock designed wacky show rod kits, and there's no royalties associated with them, making them even more profitable. One thing about them is the fact that they aren't everybody's cup of tea, but they are selling out quickly. They also have to give the rest of the world what they want, but can bring all these back a little at a time. We have to do our part, and buy as many as we can, at least two!!! Who knows if any of these prizes will ever get another chance, and could quite possibly become as rare as the originals. One good sign in all this is the fact that not only is AMT redoing Show Rods, but Revell is following suit too.....Long live Show Rodders!!! ;D

My local hobby shop cant even get all the AMT releases so I suspect at least out here in the West AMT is doing quite well. It is so hard to find some of this stuff that I have to mail order to fulfill my addiction LOL.

I can't rely on any of this stuff showing up locally, so I order all my stuff online.

Sounds almost like a stimulas package. We buy what we love. They make money and intern have to hire more help. Could you imagine doing something you love. Sorry I have to turn on the exhaust fans now the paint fumes are getting thick!!!

I am sure that if the LHS contacts Round2/AMT they will make sure they can get all the kits they want! No retailer should be 'not able' to get these new kits.

Hopefully with them re-issuing all of these different kits, they will be able to make the money they need! Oh, I most certainly hope so! I remember all too well in the past whenever a question was asked about old kits. "not viable", "wouldn't sell", "missing/damaged tooling", etc, etc.... I can only hope that if AMT is making good money from reissues, that Rev-Mon does the same. Of course, there are a few goodies coming from them too I hear! I won't repeat as I expect there's already threads here on that subject.

Randy, yes the Koo Koo Kar is on the same chassis as the Depth Charger, and Flame Out. As with the Royal Rail shares the same chassis with the Hemi Howler, and Lil Gypsy Wagon. Last but not least, the Lil Stogie shares the same chassis with the Lil Hotdogger, and Lil Roman Charriot. From what I have learned, the molds still exist for all these kits, and it will depend on us to help every single issue sell out, so they bring them all back!!!
