It is my understanding that the tone arm was held down on the record and chewed them up quickly. Some of the car record player manufacturers had dedicated records made only for their players. torinobradley, It shouldn't be too difficult to scratch build one, unless you show it poened with the turntable and tone arm. Now to find a real one, cheap, and then add a reverb unit.... Marty

Or you could dig through any old Johan kits you have knocking around, a lot of their annual kits came with a record player as a custom option.
