Converted from the RC2 Tigershark re-issue. The engine is a Boss 429 from the Multi Maverick kit. Paint is HOK Candy Lime Gold with a touch of Organic Green over silver base. Red line tires hand painted, mostly because I couldn't find a satisfactory way to mask them. The Python was one of the original Hot Wheels. Like the Demon (which was a copy of the Li'l Coffin), it was a very blatent knock off of an existing show car, in this case the Tigershark, which is what the Dream Rod eventually became, until Mark Moriority recently converted it back to its original state. Interior Here is a photo of it with an original Hot Wheels Python Thanks for looking! Tory

Holy Smokes! Fantastic Job Tory! Are you going to do all of the original 16 in 1/25?
Now that would be a project.

No, I will leave that to Chris (nightstalker), he is much further along! I might do one or two more; with Alclad II Chrome I can finally do the Boss Hoss Silver Special, my all time favorite Hot Wheel from back in the day.

What a great idea. The wheels and tires scream HOT WHEELS out loud. The Python I had was purple. I may have to try this myself, and especially now that I have some photo reference from your great build to go by. ;D Gerry G

DUDE..... Great build! It needs to go into the gallery... BiLL.. Man, do I strongly second that ... this really needs to be in the Guest Gallery!! One of my all-time favorite Hot Wheels cars (and it was one of my fastest too!), my jaw dropped when I saw this build -- it doesn't deserve to be just seen in a thread that'll go off the main page in a week or two!!

Was looking again at this beauty today. Tory, where are the wheel rims from? Are those what came with the kit or something else? Gerry G

words REALLY fail me now -- except to say making a section of track is beyond brilliant! Talk about raising the bar to super heights! (plus this looks like a great desktop picture for the computer at work!)

I love the Hot Wheels track !! Thats KOOL !! Great Job ! & Great Idea !
I once heard that in the world of collectible redline Hot Wheels, that the "Pink" cars are the most "valuable" -has anyone else ever heard that ?? I remember when I was a kid I had the L'il Coffin Hot Wheels car, -but I know the Hot Wheels version had a different name, ... can't remember what the name of it was now ... mine was "Pink" !! Wish I still had that !! Hey I can't remember what was the "HotHeap" !!! ?? ... ...Again Beautiful Python Tory ! ! !
