looks like it was fimed about 1963. theres all kinds of homemade rides including one with an allison engine in it ! its from a video by southern culture on the skids . just punch in " deja varoom " and enjoy .

Southern Culture on the Skids. They are a great band. The lead singer/lead guitar player is awsome. They do some instrumentals like the Ventures. Plus many of their songs are great for a laugh. "Daddy was a preacher & Momma was a go go girl". I'll check it out. A funny Youtube movie is called 37 chevy hotrod gasser (or something like that) It has a very cool 37 gasser coupe. White with orange racing stripes (ala Camaro or Chevelle).
I just checked it out, very cool cars. The hey day of drag racing.

you're right, southern culture on the skids are very cool. i heard them interviewed on a college radio station years ago. i picked up their " dirt track date" cd not long after that. i think i now have three of their cds.
