I thought you guys might like to see a figure kit I just finished; it's made by an outfit called MojoResin and is called "Mars or Bust" (I think she took the Bust, hyuk hyuk hyuk ;D ).

I reposed her head and gun hand a bit to give her a "what the heck is it now?" look, which my wife immediately recognized as being identical to the one we get from our teenaged daughter

The paint on her boots/gloves and bodysuit is Createx pearlescent, the same paint that Shannon DiMaulo used on that Merc that got a big picture in one of the model car magazines. I couldn't get the stuff to airbrush worth a toot and eventually ended up hand-brushing the boots and bodysuit. Not to mention the masking pulling up bits of the fleshtones.

Sigh. But it's done now, and here are the pictures (one pic and links to more):

Man I would give anything to paint figures like that. ;D She is breathtaking not to mention real busty,just the way they should be. ;D The model is super and very well done.I have a bunch of figure kits but they dont look anything like that.

Thanks for all the comments. I had fun building her, and the project went pretty quickly, Createx woes notwithstanding.

My next project may actually be automotive; I just bought Emhar's Bedford Tipper, and it's a cutie (for a dump truck, that is).

I've managed to get the Createx pearls to work on a couple of projects but more by luck than judgement.
I ended up thinning them with water way beyond what I would usually use and applying endless ultra thin coats to build up enough depth to make them visible. Getting too much paint on, and having it run, was depressingly common.
When it all goes right the end result looks great (this was one of my better efforts)
