Geez , I can't even afford the kit, let alone the real one! I hope it ends up with someone who'll show it , rather than store it away .

My guess would be $100,000 on the reserve.

Damn!! That puppy is really going up there. I have to agree. I think $100K is the mark. Did it start at $1.00?

Now sitting at $100G and reserve not met. I am guessing the reserve is about $125G. I saw the car up close at Detroit, real close, and talked with the builder and I think it is worth every penny, not just as a piece of history but as an extremely well built show car. For those who missed my Detroit photos, go to my album at the link. The Milk Truck is on page 2, so you may have to force yourself to look at page 1 with cars like the Predicta, L'il Coffin, Outlaw...dull stuff public.fotki.com/howardcohen/detroit-autorama-2009/

I suspect a flexible/movable reserve. when it stops going up that is the final figure.
Here in the UK, auctions of 'custom built' vehicles has raised controversy especially about reserves, and the auctions themselves, how difficult it is for genuine~individual bidders to win. (tends to be large companies/museums who win, have the money)
