Since it was announced this was going to be released, I wanted one. Now that they are out I couldn't justify the cost, ~$50.00. Thank goodness for Hobby Lobby and their 40% off coupon! I immediately opened it and I am glad I didn't pay full price. Two big disappointments: -the body is held on to the chassis with double face tape!! Surely a better system could have been designed. I will probably use velcro. -the wheels are plastic push on which isn't too bad. The problem is the wheel spacers. You get a tube that you have to cut down to size. Push the wheels on, measure, Somehow pry the wheels off w/o damaging them. Cut spacers, add spacers push wheels back on and hope it fits. Still glad I got it and will get the Batmobile too in spite of the design flaws. Marty Marysville, OH

I picked this up at the Springfield (OH) Extravaganza. The vendor was asking $6.00 but due to my extraordinary negotiating skills, I talked him down to $5.00. ;D

Got this for $6 at the local Goodwill Store. Sure, it's missing pretty much all it's smaller parts and seats and one front wheel is busted, but, the motor is still there and the pull start still works! ] Great score!! I had one of those and in the same color! The apartment I lived in had an open field behind it. It was a blast to fire up the buggy and let it go! Marty Marysville, OH

My favorite of the "reality" shows is "Overhaulin'" with Chip Foose. No drama, funny, and he actually worked on the cars.

This looks so familiar, but I can't quite put my finger on it. On the bottom it has: Durham Industries, Inc New York, NY Made in Hong Kong Yippie Bandit No. 8014 When I found this on the auction site I just had to have it, please don't ask why. I have NEVER seen one of these before. Marty Marysville, OH

I just received this today. I got it from an ebay auction with a LOOOOOW BIN! It is all original. The only thing missing are the two rear "Bat" knock-offs. It even has the chrome trim for the roof light, the rocket launchers, and the rear turbine outlet! Here is what it looked like when it was new: Marty Marysville, OH
