The Batmobile has been stolen by an alien from a 50's B movie. What will the caped crusader do next? Tune in next week...
I like it!

If you haven't already check out the Modelhaus. They sell conversion kits for various cars. I was looking at the site recently to convert a 69 Cutlass to a 68.

Way to Go Chuck! I know I'm a day late and a dollar short, but this build turned out super. Looks like you had some inside help!

I always wondered what size those tires were. The wheel has definitely been made to fit, increased diameter. I have this kit and it's been on the shelf for many years. Maybe one day I'll get to it.

I have a couple of sets of these, but have not applied them yet. I have a set for the Badman I'm working on. Hopefully I'll get it done and post some pics. The Badman set has different engine sizes for the decals. With my OCD and other quirks it always bothered me that the original decals show a 396 when the engine is clearly a small block. I know, I know, it's a model I even changed the rear wheels to a matching set.

Thanks Bill! Yeah, I had General Jerry Lee in mind when I started this one. I thought of building his truck but I had a couple of Beer Wagons sitting around and they are dear to my nostalgic heart. I never liked the chain drive though. I hope to have some paint done as soon as the weather cooperates. ;D

A first for me also. Nice Job, looks great. If I had one I would have to put a straight axle under the front, nose high, and a blower or injectors poking through the hood. ;D

What sucks about this whole saga is that an honest citizen had all of that trouble getting a MO cashed and/or deposited. I couldn't tell you how many cases I worked where prison inmates converted 1.00 postal money orders into 1000.00 money orders and every amount in between. The crooks family and friends cashed them with no trouble. There have been many changes since then and I'm sure they are more secure these days, to the detriment of the good guys. What a pain in the rear!

A great build and great information on the build. The mouse cord exhaust is a tip for future builds, thanks!

Well crap! I was looking forward to trying this. I was using mine this weekend to do some polishing and the lowest speed burned through my paint.

From the box art I always thought it would look like a Pantera. Like the others, this is the first built of I have seen of the kit. Very cool, a high class dune buggy for the street. Nice Job!

I had some time yesterday and hit the Hobby Lobby. The clearance isle had two shelves of Testors Model Master spray paints for $2.22 a can, normally $6+ bucks a can here. I don't know if it is a nationwide thing or not, but I wanted to give you gentlemen, and Chuck ;D, a heads up.

Not much of an update, but I have the engine almost complete. I think it's tall enough, plus I want to keep some of the Beer Wagon stock parts, injectors & headers, etc. I sanded the rivet heads off of the body panels and smoothed the roof and back of the cab. Still a bunch to do.

This is the beginnings of my Beer Wagon Wheelstander. I am still gluing and cutting. I propped up the parts to take a few photos. I got rid of the chain drive, filled the front end, and have been working on the roll cage. Still quite a bit to do.

Just so you know all of you guys suck ;D ;D I didn't get any styrene built in 2012. I have been working on 1:1 models all year. While my 68 C10 is in a thousand pieces I bought this for a grand so I could haul 68 truck parts around and crap for the wife. I spend many hours and days to get it to this point. Two weeks after I take the second pic a deer runs out in front of me while doing about 60 mph and leaves it like this. It is now 4 colors since I have swapped out the sheetmetal and radiator support. Oh! I bought my son an 83 K5 Blazer and have been working on that as well. I do have 3 model projects going now for 2013. Great work guys all of the builds look super.

My heart goes out to you Ellis. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Good to see a familiar name back on the board. I'm trying to get back to hanging out some my self. Can't wait to see some of your crazy builds. ;D
