Nice start! Glad to see you make some changes to this kit. I had a couple of 91 and 92 caprice patrol cars. Than ran pretty good but looked like roaches driving down the road. ;D Not mine, but you get the idea.

I see it went just shy of $765. I don't want to sound like a butt head, but if I paid a guy, even Steve Scott, $765 for some model kits I would hope he would kick in for the shipping. ;D

I can't speak for all AMT kits, but mine have the gasser parts. On a project I started awhile back, I used 2 recent AMT issues and all gasser parts are there the box cover has a picture of a built up, it is light green with a white top. You can always look for an original Wompin Wagon AMT kit. Get your wallet out. ;D I was going to suggest contacting Dennis at Model Express, but it appears he is out of business. He did have the decals for the Wompin' Wagon. I can't remember the actual maker, but they do exist. You will have to do a wompin wagon search. There were a couple of different ones, or different versions of the 1:1 Hope this helps! Here is a little history link for your enjoyment, this one was in Alabama. www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=317973

Hey Bobby! This has always been one of my favorite Bobby Builds. I have not read through the whole post and I may be repeating what someone else suggested. Could you use different types of fishing lines for guitar strings? Just a thought. (I just went to page three, I see you already have something going for the strings) Carry On!

I know you are going with the six, like Brandon, I to like to add horsepower aka hemi, double blowers, etc. Another V8 option would be the Engine from the Aerovette. If I recall, it's turned sideways. There may be some suspension parts you can use.

I have been away for awhile and not building much. I am still juggling a couple of 1:1 projects that take up most of my time. During the holidays I have had a few minutes to start on a couple. Here is what I have done so far, still a lot of work to do. Not pictured is a Beer Wagon wheelstander project. I'll get pics when it is more than just a pile of parts.

Nice Job! That thing is ready for a quarter mile of heavy snow. If you have to have headlights, try fitting some on the "fire wall" of the sleigh, Lil Coffin, Carl Casper's dragster, etc... As bad as it is, "it don't need no stinking headlights" ;D

I'm with you Dave! This kit screams drag build to me. I bought one for that purpose. You did a great job! I like the stance. It looks like a Wheelstander and in 1:1 I'm sure it would be, whether you wanted it to or not. Looks Great!

1967 Mustang coupe. It had a 3 speed and a six cylinder. I paid $900 for it. I'll try and dig up some pics for the scanner.

Holy Cow! I have been out of town and away from the computer. Thanks Fellas! Chuck is a whole lot older than I am. I hope someone sent him a walker. I would like to say you guys came up with a stunning set of Beer Girls! I can not stop staring at the close up in pink!
