this is my take on the lindberg doge L 700 i have had this project on my bench for a long time and finally decided to get it done i used the cowl from the beer wagon and the track nose from a 29 model A kit i flipped it and cut it down the bed is an insert for a cameo pick up w/ a real wood cover the tank is from the L-700 kit w/ cuztom holders the engine came from the Ala Cart but will be changed the headers r creepy T and the scoop is homemade out of wheelwell covers from a 59 impala kit

OK, I gotta say this. I've seen several different "Designs?" come from your workbench, and nothing much has emerged finished, or quite resembled anything known to man. When you get a good idea, stop and think about how your going to make it work, and "IF" it would come close to working in real life. I know these are just models, but making a half assed attempt at it is a better start than just piling a bunch of parts on old tires, and calling it a good start. Look at what you are showing us here, does it have a frame? NO. That always seems to be a perfect place to start, then try to get all these parts you've amassed together to work from there. Just trying to give you a better way to start a project.... ;D

not sure why you are calling it a l700 ? all i see is a roof and rear cab walls. what you are building looks like a rat rod rig...them chopped up rat semi trucks i have seen. ugly as sin if ya ask me....but it's your model. *example of these types*

I thought I would check out your other models. I recognize one of them. How old are you, just wondering?

Give the guy a chance. We may not know exactly what he has in mind yet.
It could end up being a Rothesque car for all we know?

It could end up being a Rothesque car for all we know? not trying to bash him, just asking simple question. my opinion of those rig rods is just that...my opinion. quite honestly, I think he needs help and am willing to offer some.

13 in fact and I'm calling it an L 700 because most of the parts not just the body are from the Lindberg L-700 kit and the other parts are from varying kits and any suggestions are welcome

13 years old !?? -I think that's great !! ....that we have such a young Coffin member !! If I may : ..... I agree with RatRod on a couple of points there, but I think you make great use of your imagination. that's what's great about building models you can let your imagination soar !! -About your model, you just need to figure out the specifics, AND FOLLOW THROUGH !!
.....FOLLOW THROUGH !!

I remember when the older kids I knew would melt plastic spru and scratchbuild their own dune buggies. they made frames, roll cages and just put engines , wheels and seats in them...not much to look at, but they had fun! keep having fun, things start falling into place naturally and remember...if you want help just ask..everyone pretty much at your fingertips are willing.
