Here is something for you Show Rod fans. My 1/8 Uncertain T build. I am still working on it so.... But I am using the 1966 Blackbat kit for a donation kit. The body used to be the Blackbat. Well this is how far I am at this point. See my Fotki for pics.... public.fotki.com/HotRodHawk/8thuctpics/Ken...

You cut up a rare piece for a good cause!! A GREAT start in two days! Waiting for new pics!! I will have some new pics here soon. I have the frame (mostly) complete. I just need the brackets for the engine, trans and rear end. I have started on the Rear of the body too. The top is cut out and shaped. Mocking up the rear axle and figuring out the front axle. there's a few 1/8 scale "Uncertain T's" 'out there' in model land. I've seen 3. One is a near dead on replica work in progress and will surely be an 1/8th scale version on the Uncertain T. The other 2 are nice builds, built in the flavor of the real Uncertain T but should be called something else like UTT (Uncertain T Tribute) Modelers are very picky for details, and things like wheels, tires, tie rods, engines, radiators etc... well.. if they aren't true to the original will be points of critisism. I couldn't begin to scratch build the details one of our lonnnnnng time coffin members has already spent hundreds of hours replicating minute details in his large scale replica. So I'll be doing the tribute thing ;D someday when this frikkin bathroom is done

I dont know about the minute detail. But not everyone scratch builds these things. Plus I am building for me. So close enough counts. I dont build for everyone else. I just hope to complete this thing and maybe some one else will get the bug to build a scratch custom. I am doing this because I have nothing better to do with the blackbat. And I am not giving it away. Plus, everyone has/wants a UCT. Why build it perfect to the original? Everyone does that. I like to bash. Hope you all enjoy my build as it goes. Thanks guys.
