Mike made these for me - his store is here, but he doesn't have them on there yet. I think he has someone else doing his printing for him now, so you might have to drop him a line to order these. SUPER nice quality though, I'd say the finish he got on these is BETTER than Shapeways. No clean-up needed at all, they're ready for priming and painting right out of the packet

When I saw that Pete had scored a Cobra Chopper I figured there it goes , I'll never see another one for a looong time . But he actually brought me some luck 'cause I started searching again and this one popped up with a Buy it Now price that was lower than I expected so I grabbed it ! Now I have all six of the originals and they have moved to the top of my "To Do" list .   |

Hardest thing I can see is working out what color paint those snakes are meant to be.
What's the engine meant to be, by the way? Does it say on there anywhere?

Yep , they all look to be fairly easy builds but they are also incredibly detailed and have possibly the best wire wheels molded in plastic . As for the paint I'm thinking of doing something similar to a woodgrain but without the grain , if that makes sense . And I was pretty sure the engine is a 750 Honda so I got out my magnifying glass and sure enough it has "HONDA" molded on the side . |

Those trikes are a fun, easy build. Actually, they go by a little TOO fast, cause of the low part count. They fit together well, no real problems at all. And Bob, if you decide not to use those handlebars, let me know!

I picked up a few bits lately...I needed a new compressor that isn't so big for my new place...found this on Amazon deals for $40 WITH an airbrush too:
Seems decent for the money - and quiet enough to use indoors without upsetting anyone. I went to Blicks to look for some airbrush paint...I was after a nice pearl purple from the Createx or Wicked Colors lines...and spotted this on the way to the paint rack:
They had the color I wanted plus a couple of other useful ones for 97c rather than the 6 or 7 bucks or whatever they charge for this stuff:
Picked up some of their sealer too to try out as an alternative to rattle can primers, plus some more of my favorite cement.
And finally, today's score. I was on the lookout for another cool toolbox to keep my scalpels and scribes and airbrushes and all that stuff in...found this at a flea market today!
Really cool - I think it's mid 50s...cleaned up real nice!
I couldn't find a PLASTIC one in Michaels for less than $25 last night when I was looking, so I was super stoked to find this today! Had $22 on the tag, offered $10, paid $15!

Well guys... This has got to be THE greatest find I ever did, regarding modelkits... I wont say so much yet, I`ll show you the pics, and then I`ll tell you about below the pics....      As you know I asked a few questions about the Roarin Rambulance a couple of days ago, and I mentioned that I MIGHT just have found one, here in Denmark. Well, I did. It WAS a Roarin Rambulance. And it was sealed. Still wrapped. And as a bonus, I also got one of the basic Johan ambulances, also still sealed. And about the price... I guess that its hard to believe... But I actually got both for... converted to US dollars... $26.50... For both... As I mentioned in the beginning, it has to be the greatest score I ever did....  |
