On the VW board I frequent they have a thread titled SCORE!. I think it would be cool to have it here as well. I'll kick it off with today's find which should bring out the envy in a handful of you klowns. I think it's a lot of fun to see what other guys find when they are out and about. I've seen a lot of single posts about finds so lets just start cramming them into this one. For this first entry I'm just going to say that keep getting out to flea markets and swap meets. Jay told me about this guy that was setting up with a bunch of models at one of our local flea markets. I was out of town the first time he set up and missed out but he has been there twice and it looks like I didn't miss out so much. I bought 13 kits off the guy and came home doing the happy dance.

I think it's a nice score John, ... I always wanted that one myself !! Hey AJ, Like you're saying, ?about keeping this thread hanging around ? ?Is'nt there a way to lock this thread to the top of the page ?? ... then ?We could just throw all our Kool finds on this thread ?? Perhaps ?

Well, this thread can stay alive just by posting your scores to it as you find them Al. Doesn't matter what they are or where they come from. If you think it's a score and you feel like sharing then take a pic and post it in here. It's just the fun part of seeing what people find. This doesn't need to be pinned up as long as the members use it. It'll stay close enough to find it.

This is some of the recent model related scores I made in the last 2 week. Received at Local flea markets, yard sales, ads , shows. Not much the "Street Beast" and A Silhouette I needed for the box ,"Fast Buck" ,a "Beatnik Bandit" Body/Chassis , and a "Paddy Wagon" . The rest are unbuilt kits A Mini 1963 model car mag, and lots of 1964 mags. Some neat ideas from these books.

I did not know you had a Harley. I may take you up on the ride. Just have a little carb work to do, change the pipes to drags and a little clean up. Remember Load Pipes saves lives. This will be my 6th Harley now. My first Sportster. I like it. Not too small, not too big. Plus I only weigh 160 lbs.

Only "Girls" ride Sportsters..... ;D ok John you win - I decided to upgrade about 2 weeks ago and now have this beaut setting in the shop .. my 1200C had tons of power and room with forward controls but at 6'1" and 270 the Softtail rides a little better because it has 44mm. forks and mono-shock vs. the 4-39MM shocks on the Sporty.. Ken's just the right size for a Sportster ..
