I was thinking that I never got a chance to show a "Before" and "After" view of my Lil Cashbox build, which is in the Guest Gallery already. So here is a Before and After shot of my Lil Cashbox build...
I purchased this off eBay for $6.50 at the time. All the wheels and tires are original. Some parts were used from the Lil Gasser as the Lil Mixer and Lil Yeller had not been reissued at the time. Most of the original parts were there, so I didn't need to use too many Gasser parts.
Here is my Lil Cashbox all finished, ready for the Guest Gallery. The "gold" chrome is Tamiya Clear Yellow acrylic brush painted on the chrome. The machine gun on top is a bash of parts from a German 20mmFlakvierling 38. I think it looks cooler than the kit supplied machine gun. I didn't scuff up the slicks as I wanted to keep the showrod look to them, so they are smooth and shiney. Also, this was entirely painted by hand with brushes, no airbrush or spray cans. Enjoy! ;D
