I just sniped this off the 'Bay, evilBay that is. Now, I need some parts. Anyone have some odds and ends they want to sell or trade out? It looks like it is missing one front tire/wheel and the windshield frame, possibly the ladder. Thanks, RSS

The Fire Iron is the exact same kit, those wheels and tires were the only unique parts. Tires are the same as Groovy Grader, and it seems like someone was casting the wheels. Maybe Bill (scaledetail) I bought a glue bomb Firecracker just for the wheels to do mine (I got one with all four wheels.... )

I had that model on my ebay watching page last night, but I won a Dog Catcher model first, and I got so excited I forgot to bid on this one. when I buy models with missing parts I watch ebay to see if I can find a junker with the parts I need, or check auctions with parts boxes (wheels, engines, tires) whatever I need. I have found the exact part I needed doing that

Thanks! i was jazzed. I added a larger bid 2 seconds before it ended so I would make certain I at least pushed it up if I didn't win. Hahaha!!
how much did you get the dog catcher for? Those are great little kits!

I got the Dog Catcher for $45.00 built, only thing missing is the two small wings on the front. I am always buying showrod models off ebay, I've gotten some great deals on there. I got an almost complete restoreable Unreal Roller for $35.00, and two Honest Engines for around 25.00 each. my best and favorite so far is a Flameout model still in the box for $45.55. I love restoring old built showrod models though, they're awsome

Thanks to Chief, Skulldude (Bill) and scaledetail (Bill), I have all the parts, minus the rim (waiting on that one) to get this this on the road again!! Now, it's off to the purple lake and freezer. Maybe in that order. The wetness may make the joints crack away easier.
Thanks for all your help and take care!!

One more piece to the mold, and you'll have your rim also.
