Here's my entry #21 Barris T Buggy converted to the Patrick 'C' Star Car! A bit of a kitbash with me re-shaping the bodywork and detailing up the chassis and suspension. The decals are homemade and I have added little star shaped rear lights. The paintwork is supposed to be textured and I must admit it hasn't come out quite how I wanted it to, but deadlines is deadlines! Enjoy....

I have to enter in the unfinished section. It is called Rommels Hot Rod and the pics are terrible. It was early morning and still dark so I used the flash and did not even set up the shot as I was only testing but I have run out of time blast. If I get a chance before the comp closes I will take some better ones. I chopped both of the windscreens by 3 inches and the front windscreen is lowered by trimming the sides. The wheel well is filled in. Shaved of the gun holder on the front windscreen Filled in the shovel holes and the rear antenna holes At the rear I have installed twin arials one either side but I forgot to put them on for the pic. Painted it Candy Apple Red There is scratch build dice hanging there but you cannot see them sorry. To do Put gold BMF on the side pressings below the door handles Put in the front flags I made a custom RR flags for that. Black the grille and rear track holes. I have opened the rear door and I have to finish that.

a little space age ... a little chrome ... a pair of new shoes ... only a very few changes in the front and back ... all the rest box stock ... as you know I like to see kits from a different angle ... without changing too much the idea started years ago at our bubbletop-contest ... but remained til now just a few drawings on the paper ... never had the time to build it .... enjoy ! first entry ... lets begin with a teaser ...

Well here's one..... Some of you may remember this 2 year project... It's never been entered here in a contest so here a few shots of my 8th scale Green Hornet ... A conglomeration of resin parts, parts box engine and a Big "T" kit with a chopped rag top, Kustom Kandy Green 1:1 flake (remember this one Tim) and a kustom made aluminum roll cage (Ratrod you listening?) ...

As already mentioned, the live plays a different game... I am very late, to show you my entries, thank you to everyone who made this possible. It's never been entered here in a contest, so here is my first entry: The Surf Sharkcoffincorner.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=wip&action=display&thread=9683coffincorner.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=completed&thread=12100&page=1My second entry: Zzzzz 28coffincorner.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=wip&action=display&thread=8314My third entry, nearly boxstock: T`rantulaI have always liked this kit, but I've never built it in this way... My "I was going to try to slip in under deadline and didn't finish it" entry: The Monkees MobileSo similar, it might have look at that time... The idea originally came from the old master, Ed "NEWT" Newton. I have tried to implement it, perhaps not quite as he thought it, and unfortunately not in time for this contest. Here is the current situation:

Well, I didn't quite make this deadline. I worked on my model for a few nights and then Scott showed a "booboo" that needed fixing. Scott sucks. I didn't care too much for the idea of "backward progress." Then, other deadlines crept up on me and the model had to take a backseat. Tomorrow, my other deadlines will have passed and hopefully, HOPEFULLY, I can get back to work. This is what I was able to get done. Works in progress aren't pretty . . . Hosted on Fotki

OK, since we are digging out the recent re-runs, I'll have a go. Hence to "No Rules" for these fools, right? This is the only thing I finished this year. Lots of fun. Got a couple good "How To's" done from it. Started out as a Deals Wheels Messerschnitzle. The flathead comes from the Pie Wagon. The spinning prop is clear sheet styrene scored to look like a blur. The dash is engine turned aluminum tape with aluminum gauge rings. Our darling pilot holding the piston rudder stick is a character from High School musical. The inset dark wood is shelf paper with a little extra dry brushing. The wood trim is painted styrene. All the pontoon system is scratchbuilt. The planking is more shelf paper. [glow=red,2,300]BEER & POPCORN WAGON!!! [/glow] Here is the Un-Finished "Beer & Popcorn Wagon. It is based on the MPC Popcorn Wagon & the AMT/MPC L'il Gasser. The back of the body is from the Popcorn Wagon and the Cab area is scratchbuilt except for the L'il Gasser Cowl. It has a Yellow Pin-Striped Popcorn Machine, that was Chopped to fit inside and 3 Kegs of Beer! The Dash & Engine parts are from the AMT 53 Studebaker. The Chassis was Lowered at all 3 axles. Need to finish the Body, Chassis & Interior, and there is alot of Gold Trim & Signs still to be added... Should be Finished in a week or so. I'll post photos more later!
