This is halfway between a rat rod and a show rod. I’ll let you Klowns decide.

This started as a Red Baron glue bomb. I’ve had an idea like this kicking around for awhile. I kept the Baron frame and added an old Ford pick up bed. I cut off the front axle and added the hands for mounts. Skull radiator is from a Halloween kids ring. The engine is a Blue Flame 6 from a 1953 Chevy. I added the pipes, wiring and dual carbs/intake. The rear tires are from some tractor trailer model, the wheels are from the wheel box (maybe one of you Klowns can identify which kit the rear spokes came from). I chopped out the middle section from the helmet and cut in a rear window. My wife of whom I usually consult with on certain model matters suggested the gloss black for the helmet color.

Very nice work! The wife gave you good advice. I really like the truck bad attached to the Red Baron. That idea was super!

I like your work, and I like the entire build except the roof. Although unique, I think it's taking away from the build a bit. Maybe a leaned back Duvall windshield? Don't be offended, it's a nice build for sure. Just an artists point of view.

Tim - I could never get offended by your comments. I appreciate the constructive criticism. The only part of the helmet I am not completely happy with is the point in front. I should have made it shorter. I chopped the helmet hence the German word for chopped- gehakt
