This is such a killer site. Everybody gets to play. Response on a gas pedal. Classic!
Thanks for the encouragement guys. I means a lot.
We are finally moved in and unpacked. It's good to have a place to build again.
Al, It goes to my yet to be finished fools without rules project. I am making seat belts now. When all the interior parts are in, I'll shoot some more pics.
Thanks again for the responses.
Flounder.

Wow. Thanks again, Klowns. You inspire me to forge ahead. I think I posted this pic before, but what the hey. Here is the front suspension and some brake cylinder detail. I'll try to get the belts and interior finished this week. That leaves the engine and body to go. Hosted on Fotki

How long ithas been on this project! Over a year and a half! I haven't been posting, because I been doing a series on it. But it's near completion - maybe a month or two. Its been so long since I shared anything so I thought I would post anyway. Hope you enjoy. Flounder Hosted on FotkiHosted on Fotki

Thanks clowns. Good to hear from you. I'm still here almost every day.
Age is catching up with me. I am wearing readers and leave them on when I use the mag lamp. I am just finishing up the brake lines tonight. Yipee. I hate doing those.

I was reading your mag article about the hood pin detail on this build. Amazing, and just one small facet of the model. Really enjoy seeing it take shape.

Thanks for the feedback, gents.
I would like to post more pics, but this build has been the subject of a loooong running series in Model Cars Magazine. I feel that I was very lucky that they accepted the articles showing how to build the various parts of this car, so I do not want to preview them by posting in the web. It's kind of a bummer because this build started from a contest here and I wanted to shere the progress. So I snuck in a small preview.
Once the series is done, and I make sure I am not violating any copyright agreements, I can populate this thread with some of the in-progress stuff.
Right now I am doing the body tins. The final chassis is 99% done. Just need to attach the headers, tires, and injector. I am very, very close to paint. Scott Carter said he would help me with the graphics. Did anyone notice the wing support?
Best regards.
