I am looking for one for a project, but am not doing well searching ebay, google and other sources. Is anyone aware of a kit or a good source for a v-twin motor? Would prefer Harley, but like-Harley is just as good for my purposes. Looks count more than name. The scale is 1/24ish since all the rest of the bits are from the well.
Any advice or knowledge is appreciated!

Maisto did a range of Harley models (built ups) covering the 1930's to the present day. They're all 1/24 - 1/25 scale and are pretty accurate, part plastic and part die cast so come apart easily - you shouldn't have to pay a lot for one.
If you want the ultimate though it would have to be Revell's Panhead chopper that was one of the Parts Pack range. Rare and expensive but about as good as it gets in that scale.

Thanks for the info, will look around; the Maistos are probably rotting on a store shelf somewhere. As for the Panhead...well, price IS an object in this case! But now I know, and knowing is half the battle!
