I totally wasted the original body of this kit with an errant gloss coat, which left me with an extra chassis that I combined with the T-Bone Stake to create the T-Bone Snake. This time I was more careful. It was a happy accident, for both the Snake and the Bandit, since the new release had much better decals than the one I was using. White primer with pearlizer and said decals under glassy-glossy overcoat. White walls were an afterthought, so I used white decal film, double stamp cut (medium hole/bigger hole) an applied with blow-dryer to set. I guess that's something to put in the "tips" section.

Thanks. Those decals were a bear, especially the fenders. Five pieces each - really? Working them one or two at a time, a little gentle blow-dryer action to get them to hug the curves. Whew. A couple of cracks happened, but all in all I like the end result.

Beautiful job on this one!
I'm glad to hear the decals are easier to work with. I have this re-pop and was wondering about the decals.
